British Cycling is offering cyclists a unique opportunity to ride the Stage 1 route of the 2007 Tour de France across East London and Kent.

The Cyclosportive event will take place on Sunday 1st July, exactly one week before Le Tour de France and allow 5,000 riders from across the UK and Western Europe the chance to experience the  challenges awaiting the Tour de France participants on July 7th.

So Much More than a Cycle Race
The Grand Départ of the Tour de France, the world’s largest annual sporting event, will be visiting London for the first time during the weekend of 6-8 July 2007.

The Prologue on Saturday 7 July will be a five-mile lap of central London, starting on Whitehall, taking in the Houses of Parliament, Buckingham Palace, Hyde Park, Green Park and St James Park and finishing on the Mall.

New Jaguar S type Unveiled
The new S-Type - and the face of the future of Jaguar  - made its worldwide debut at the 2007 Detroit Motor Show in January.

The styling, by designer Ian Callum, will cause the biggest stir, and as you can see from the first official pictures, the C-XF - the 'C' denoting the show machine's concept status - is unlike any Jaguar of the past.
