After touring in spring and summer 2008 to widespread acclaim Cohen has announced further dates for autumn 2008

Hot on the heels of his induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, legendary singer -songwriter Leonard Cohen announced a world tour.
The poet and songwriter toured Canada and Europe in the spring and summer of 2008 to universal acclaim. Now the tour has now been extended, due to "overwhelming demand", into the autumn of 2008.
There are reports that a further US leg will be added in 2009.
Renowned for his poetry and novels since the 1950s, Cohen has produced classic songs such as "So Long, Marianne" and "Everybody Knows."
He last toured in 1993 in support of his album "The Future."
At the hall of fame induction ceremony, he was lauded by singer Lou Reed as "without question one of the most important and influential songwriters of our time."
Cohen's fellow inductees included Madonna and John Mellencamp.
There are more than 1,200 cover versions of his songs, including those done by artists as diverse as Johnny Cash, U2, Tori Amos and Rufus Wainwright.
